The Conversion of Frances Chesterton

I am so pleased to be asked to speak at St. Agnes parish about the conversion of Frances Chesterton, which will be on March 6th, 2015 right after Stations of the Cross (about 7:45PM) as part of their Lenten Lecture Series. I hope you can come to this or any of the other great speakers in this series of lectures.

Hail Mary in Slow Motion

My friend Sarah Reinhard, over at Snoring Scholar, who also contributed some Mary Moments to my UncommonSense Podcast, had some blog posts a while ago, going through each word of the Hail Mary and doing a meditation on each individual word. My word was "with," and if you think about it, it's not that easy to think about the word "with" alone. But I did my best.

And now, these meditations are being gathered into a book, which will be published this year. So I will have a little chapter in that book. It will be called Word by Word: Slowing Down with the Hail Mary, and will be published by Ave Maria Press. I am very happy to be a part of this project, on a prayer I prayer multiple times every day. I look forward to seeing the book this autumn.

Why Should I Learn Chesterton?

There is a new ebook, which is currently being offered for free. I wrote a chapter in it called "Why Should I Learn Chesterton?", and I thought you might like to see it, here.

A Children's Book about the Chestertons

I'm very excited to let you know that I've written a children's book about Gilbert and Frances Chesterton.

This is a chapter book, and will be published by Chesterton Press.

Only a few people have read it so far, and they've all loved it, so I'm super excited about it.

It's based on real people—obviously Gilbert and Frances Chesterton are real—and the friends they meet were their real friends.

The book is scheduled to be out by Easter. 2015. Awe. Totally. Some.

I'll keep you posted.
